not too long ago

When darkness pours from above, and the staggering skyline illuminates before us. The executive crowd have moved to the other side on the bank where all the hotels, restaurants and pubs are. And we stand on the side where the people have gone home for the day, and the buildings have quietened. We have had our sashimi and sake at our favourite sushi bar, but we are never quite ready to head home yet. The silence of the business district, the wind in our faces. When the sun rises, this place becomes your stage. But it was never mine to begin with. I’ve the heart of maverick. Never at home. Forever seeking. And my question to you is always this: ‘Where should I go next?’
